Together We Can Make A Difference

Aladdin has started a global initiative to “Go Green”, How we impact the environment is very important to us, and environmental considerations are an integral part of Aladdin’s business practices. From the earliest stages of product design through manufacturing, use, and recycling, we take care to keep our activities and our products environmentally sound.

We have made great strides in ensuring that product and packaging design, responsible manufacturing, energy efficiency, and recycling are top level priorities at Aladdin. Although many aspects of the process involve significant challenges, our efforts in these areas have resulted in some impressive results.

Aladdin has been awarded ISO 14000 certification. Which means that based on annual checks, our factories and production comply with ISO environmental standards. Click here to view our ISO 14000 Environmental Declaration.

Many other steps have been taken to ensure that our global offices comply with the new company standard to “Go Green”. Some of these initiatives include:

Recycling bins in all offices for;

• Bottles/Plastics/Paper

Using less paper;

• Double-sided printing where possible
• Using scrap paper for note taking, printing
• Buying recycled paper

Using less electricity;

• Turning off office lights and air-conditioning at the end of the day
• Turning off printers, photo-copiers and computers at night
• Buying energy efficient lighting and electrical products

Using less disposables;

• New “Aladdin Goes Green” mugs, dishes, glasses, and cutlery have been provided in all offices and people are encouraged to use them instead of disposables

Driving less and use environmentally friendly cars where possible;

• Employees are encouraged to share a ride to and from work with a colleague, or take public transport
• Smaller more economical cars have been offered in some countries to people who have company cars

With over 450 employees, in 12 different countries, Aladdin is trying to do its’ part in securing the environment and making a difference.
